TitanX Engine Cooling is hiring a Commodity Buyer
TitanX Engine Cooling is a global supplier of commercial vehicle engine and transmission cooling solutions to OEMs and the independent aftermarket. TitanX with annual sales of over 2 billion SEK has 800 employees worldwide. The company has manufacturing sites in Sweden, USA, Brazil, China, Mexico and Poland. TitanX is today owned by Tata Autocomp Ltd (TACO).

The Commodity Buyer is part of the Purchasing Team , within the Europe South America China organization at TitanX. We are operating in a global market working on global projects in close corporation with TACO. Our environment is intense due to competition and this is what we like.
With the rapid mutation of vehicles from internal combustion engines towards electro-mobility, it is important the Commodity Buyer has in-depth knowledge in Automotive cooling.
The position is based at our site in Mjällby, Sweden. Swedish or European working permit is an advantage. We also encourage and welcome female candidates.
Your role
The Commodity Buyer is responsible for the following:
· To work in accordance with TISIX core strategies and purchasing policy
· Purchasing of raw material and production items.
· Managing his global supplier’s relationship
· Participate in compilation of the budget figures and the purchasing strategy for his commodities.
· Define and monitor the QCD’s supplier’s performances.
· Support SQA–PQA engineers regarding supplier quality management system (SQA) and suppliers quality assurance of products and processes (PQA)
The Commodity Buyer is authorized to
· Negotiate and complete businesses within above mentioned sphere of activities.
· Inquire and compile quotations.
· Choose the most appropriate supplier. In some cases after consultation with other departments.
· Formulate and issue contracts and bookings.
· Follow up the market and secure that the best conditions are reached.
· Compile and present statistics and account of price index.
· Negotiate and establish contracts with suppliers. In some cases after consultation with the Purchasing director.
Your profile
You like working in a climate with rapid changes and are motivated by planning and driving your work and take decisions within your area of responsibility. You are proactive, take initiative, see what needs to be done and do it. You are not afraid to challenge the organization.
Minimum Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Purchasing. Preferably cources/Diploma as Buyer, in Six Sigma, Supply Chain, SAP and IATF 16949. Very good computer skills.
3 years practical experience in Purchasing for Automotive Industries.
Can fluently communicate in English, both in speech and in written.
