Supply Chain Operations Tetra Pak Supply Chain Operations manufactures packaging material, packaging systems and distribution solutions for Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions.The Supply Chain Capital Equipment division (SCO CE) is responsible for the manufacture and supply of Filling Machines and Distribution Equipment from receipt of order until performance is achieved at the customer's site.Total Quality will support and coordinate the quality and equipment performance initiatives within the Platforms (D&E/SCO CE).The team is looking for a Total Quality Manager who shall take the lead in developing all aspects of Continuous Improvement within the platform.The role focus shall be lead from the platforms, with a strong link to the Total Quality team, to ensure we utilise the power of the organisation to optimise our products and processes to fulfil and exceed our customer's expectations.In this position you will be also responsible to: .Participate in actions against Customer Claims, Supplier Non-Conformities and Customer Satisfaction feedback .Lead compliance to management review guidelines .Lead overview of quality competence with Carton Gable Top .Lead resolution against audit findings .Participate in improvements against process compliance deviations .Participate in developing Continuous Improvement methods and tools through WCM methodology..Lead the teams awareness of quality gaps/opportunities to GPD/LPD .Participate in Global MS development The position shall have a direct report to the TQM Manager, with an informal line to the D&E VP, Platform Carton Gable Top.The position will be based in Lund, but in consideration of the Carton Gable Top restructuring project some operations will be in Minneapolis (US) until 2009, thus requiring traveling and activities performed also at Minneapolis site The successful candidate has a technical education background at University level.You are fluent both in written and spoken English.You have at least three years of working experience in technical or production areas, combined with knowledge of WCM or equivalent recognized Continuous Improvement methodologies.Total Quality approach and understanding is required.Male or female applicants to the position are appreciated.As a person you have strong networking ability and you can work across organizational lines with significant quality focus.You are able to be a speaking partner within a multinational environment, using informal authority to drive people and influence at all levels in the organisation You have an analytical and systematic approach when dealing with quality initiatives and you are able to take the role of a clear driver as well as a team player.
