Trade Analyst to Italian Trade Agency in Finland

Do you speak Finnish fluently and have knowledge in the Italian language? Do you want to work in a role where you help Italian companies expand their operations and sales in Finland? The Italian Trade Agency is now looking to expand their operations to Finland, and are looking for a Trade Analyst to cooperate with the Swedish office. You will be working from the Italian embassy in Helsinki.
This is a consultancy opportunity and the assignment will last for 12 months, starting around first of November, with the possibility for an extension.

The Italian Trade Agency´s goal is to promote business relations with Italy and Finland. They offer services and guidande to companies and organizations. For instance, they help companies with finding partners, identify new products and services as well as assisting with new establishments.

About the role

In this role, you´ll get to utilizes a lot of different skills - everything from administration to analyzing and networking skills!
You will primarily work with:

• Supporting the trade analyst of Stockholm Office in organizing promotional events and fairs in Norway and Finland
• Supporting the trade analysts in in contacting by phone and by mail Finnish operators and Italian companies for encouraging business contacts
• Updating lists of local economic operators
• Collecting statistics on Italian/Finnish foreign trade
• Writing press releases on the most important economic events
• Writing sectoral notes on the most important productive sectors

Who we´re looking for

We´re looking for a person comfortable with working independently and who preferably has previous experience working in Trade.
In addition, we wish you have:

• Fluency in Finnish
• Full working proficiency in English
• Quite good Italian
• Good knowledge of the main Office programmes and good skill in general in using application softwares
