ValueOne is looking for a Trade and Customs Compliance Officer for a longer consultant assignment at a manufacturing company in Västerås. The assignment must be filled as soon as possible.
The role
As Trade and Customs Compliance Officer you will be responsible for strategic initiatives, development of processes and support in the daily business.
Main tasks:
Support the business management in the electrification business area to ensure that all business processes are aligned with client trade and customs policies and guidelines.
Provide business colleagues with hands-on guidance in complying with trade related requirements and in pursuing strategic trade objectives.
Be responsible for both daily trade and customs operations.
Development and implementation of trade related initiatives supporting the business.
Support and drive issues related to Product Classification Engineer (PCE) by performing classification, including proper documentation.
Experience and competencies:
The person we are looking for has previous experience from export control and sanctions. Knowledge of classification (customs and export control) and End-to end supply chain processes, risk management and logistics is needed. Good knowledge of SAP and basic technical knowledge of safety products and low voltage products is an asset. You must be fluent in Swedish and English, written and spoken.
