The mission of the Trade Compliance Officer (TCO) is to support Customer Service Parts & Logistics management in ensuring that all business processes are aligned with ABB trade policies and guidelines, as well as to provide the business staff with hands-on guidance in complying with trade related requirements and in pursuing strategic trade objectives. TCO functions as single point of contact for trade related matters towards our warehouses and custom authorities. The responsibility covers both daily trade operations as well as development and implementation of trade related initiatives supporting the business.

Your responsibilities
Provide Customer Service managers and other staff periodic updates regarding customs laws/regulations.
Create and maintain written procedures and guidelines for customs compliance requirements.
Review and approve customs declarations, in close cooperation with our warehouses.
Apply to the appropriate government agencies for any required customs licenses/authorizations.
Ensure that trade compliance records are maintained for a period that satisfies legal requirements.
Execution of trade reviews/audits and/or conduct “self-audits” of trade compliance.
Ensure the customs classification of all exported and imported parts. Primary responsibility for execution of product classifications will reside with the Product Classification Engineer (PCE).
Ensure that trade compliance targets are achieved.

Your background
Good understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, risk management and logistics.
Knowledge of custom rules and regulations (willingness to learn).
Sufficient seniority to effectively communicate across all levels of the business.
Business mindset, responsiveness, strong sense of ownership, sense of details, self-drive personality and willingness to explore.
Helpful, not mandatory: technical knowledge of Robotics products/software (willingness to learn).
Team player with good communication skills, capable of communicating in English and Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
