At the Supply Chain function within Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions and division Rock Tools, we’re responsible for all services connected to our supply chain and logistics processes within the division. Balancing costs and service levels is a daily challenge for us, and our aim is to provide every single customer with the right product at the right time, without building excessive stock on our part.
We’re currently looking for a Trade Compliance Specialist to join us in Sandviken, and we offer you great opportunities for development in our truly global organization!
About the job
In this role, your main mission is to lead our trade compliance work and actively drive us towards a higher maturity within the field. You align on trade compliance strategies and goals with the division management and our Trade Compliance team, while building and maintaining a network of compliance contacts within the division to secure ownership and responsibility of trade compliance areas.
Other tasks included in your responsibility are:


Supporting of all projects, process owner initiatives and logistics services by completing relevant analysis and reports and developing reporting tools
Ensuring alignment of tools, training best practices and processes across all regions
Governing the Trade Compliance self-assessment
Supporting our Rock Tools Logistic transformation program with focus on cost, innovation and sustainable development
Acting as a first point of contact for escalations and unresolved queries from the operational team and the regions
Participating in projects as a subject matter expert
Project management

About you
To thrive in this position, you need experience of logistics sourcing and project management, preferably within spare parts logistics and the manufacturing industry. With subject matter expertise within freight processes and trade compliance, you know everything about customs, export control and trade agreements. You’re used to working in the Office 365 suite, especially Excel, and its advantageous with knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Power BI. As we act in a global setting, you must be fluent in English, while skills in Swedish are beneficial.
