Trade Compliance Specialist
MISSION
The Global Trade Compliance team’s vision is to convert Trade Compliance into a competitive advantage and key asset for the Epiroc, by supporting all divisions and functions in achieving their strategic and operational objectives and targets while guaranteeing continuous best practice compliance with all applicable and ever changing import and export laws and regulations, and continuously striving for Trade Compliance performance optimization, both from a resource and cost perspective, supporting Epiroc’s bottom line.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Provide global Trade Compliance guidance to the regional Trade Compliance Analysts
* Act as 3rd level support for operational Trade Compliance aspects
* Monitor for regional compliance to applicable Trade Compliance regulation and global Trade Compliance policies
* Support Analysis, Design and Implementation of Strategic Programs for own region(s) of responsibility
* Rollout of internal compliance program Conduct and support Trade Compliance audits and risk/maturity assessments in the region as part of the Group Internal Audit Program
* Support the Regional Trade Compliance Analysts in dealing with external audits in the region and communicating with local authorities and advisors regarding audits, prior disclosures, self-disclosures, etc.
* Establish and maintain a trade network with both internal and external parties on global, regional and local level
* Continuously identify potential cost savings in the region
* Own the process for trade and parts classifications activities in the region to ensure accurate trade master data at all time
* Monitor budgetary performance of Trade Compliance related activities and functions and perform benchmarking with similar size companies in mining/construction and other industries
* Analyze, design and develop trade and customs organizational, process and tools improvements based on continuous monitoring of customs and trade performance monitoring for own region
PROFILE:
You have about 7 years of relevant experience with international responsibilities in trade compliance, international trade, and customs laws and regulations (including operating effective Internal Compliance Programs). You have strong expertise in global export/import control regulations, sanction laws and dual use, dangerous goods for transport classification and ECCN determination/classification and the experience to drive projects in an international environment. We see that you have known experience in trade classification and international customs and export control laws and regulations. Past experience working for the customs authorities/administration in own region would be a definite plus. To conduct trade compliance audits and or risk/maturity assessments, as well as in formulating appropriate corrective actions will be a part of this role, so previous experience in that is benificial. Experience in design and implementation of advanced trade functions, such as FTAs, FTZs, Bonded Warehouses is a definite plus.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Master’s degree in International Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent through experience
* Licensed customs broker
* Certified Import/Export Professional (for the region(s) of responsibility)

LOCATION & TRAVEL
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Willingness and ability to travel domestically within the region.
