Tradeshelper

The Handyperson is responsible for the general maintenance of the buildings, grounds, and gardens of the Embassy.
The Handyperson will assist in creating and maintaining an environment that is tidy, beneficial and safe for staff members of the Embassy.

To be responsible for the care and maintenance of Embassy property, grounds and gardens to achieve and maintain a satisfactory standard of tidiness in liaison with the Maintenance Supervisor. To be responsible for the care and maintenance of the gardens including weeding, planting, pruning and watering when appropriate. To be responsible for the use and care of the garden machinery, snow removal equipment and/or general tools and ladder and steps maintenance with due regard to Health and Safety requirements.
To be responsible for the general upkeep of the exterior/interior of Embassy property by painting utilizing paint products and tools.
To deal with small, general items of repair and maintenance in the interior of Embassy property e.g. putting up shelves. Changing light bulbs, moving furniture, unblocking of sinks and drains etc.
. Secondary School Required
. Two years of experience as a helper or semi-skilled worker in a specific trade area.
. Language Level 2 in English and Swedish.
. Job knowledge: ability to operate gardening and hand tools to complete daily tasks.
. The individual needs to be a team player, highly motivated and a customer orientated.
