We are at the core of the market places, and we interact with issuers, trading participants, investors, and regulators to build and preserve confidence in our markets. What You Will Do
As a Trading Surveillance Analyst, you will be a part of our Trading & Member Surveillance team in Stockholm. We work closely together with our surveillance and compliance teams in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, and Norway. The team performs real-time and post-trade analysis of trading in all asset classes across the Nordic market places that Nasdaq operates.
Responsibilities:
Perform real-time and continuous analysis of price movements, trading volumes, trading patterns, and news around listed products
Identify suspected market abuse and other forms of breaches of rules
Uphold orderly trading and intervene in trading when vital and when necessary, required to assist in decisions on e.g. trading suspensions or trade cancellations
Help market participants avoid ending up in problematic situations by guiding members and others regarding our practices in different contexts and how to align with exchange regulations
What We Expect
You are a driven and ambitious student who has a genuine curiosity about finance, trading, and investments. Furthermore, you can take the initiative and are not afraid to come up with new insights. We see it as a merit if you have been working in the same business before.
Currently studying Economics or Finance with at least 2 years left to graduation
Basic understanding of trading and investments
Mathematical or statistical skills and experience in handling or analyzing large quantities of data are advantages.
Full proficiency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.

This is a part-time position in Stockholm and the working hours are between 10-15 hours a week with flexibility during exams and more hours during summer.
