Could you be the full-time Train system engineer in Västerås we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to Lars Devero (Engineering Manager in Västerås) and work alongside experienced and committed teammates.
You'll Manage the technical contractual scope of the project internally and toward customers.
Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business of train maintenance and repair projects, ensure implementation and monitoring of maintenance plans and instructions on vehicles and components and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of repair and upgrade projects on railway vehicles and component., but also support Production organization and solve technical issues detected by different core team members. This position will allow regular business trips within the Nordic region.
We’ll look for you to:
Leading Engineering development process for functional Systems
Lead concept development and technical description in bids and projects
Manage the technical contractual scope of different projects, internally and toward customers
Develop and maintain tasklists and BOM (bill of material) from maintenance plans and/or project specifications.
Technical investigations, requirements management, and Verification & Validation activities
Manage internal and external deliverables related to system responsibility and bid/contract phase
Develop technical and project specific documentation i.e., Engineering specifications, Test programs, Test reports, Risk assessments

University degree in relevant engineering field
Experience or understanding of 3D CAD design (Solidworks, Catia V5 or equivalent)
Knowledge in producing, interpreting and assessing specifications, standards and technical reports
Familiarity with technical standards and regulations and in customer projects and in teams
Fluent in English
Your Swedish does not need to be fluent today, but to cope with the role you need to have come a long way. You need to be willing to continue developing your Swedish
