Job Description
Our assignment, in short, is to develop user friendly digital solutions that support the Range & Product development at IKEA.
You will be part of the Range & Product Design and Management team within Processes & IT Tools, which today consists of 10 co-workers.
You will be a part of an exciting development agenda for the area, where we are currently transforming our product information model into new shapes and digital tools. As a Software Engineer Trainee you will work in a digital product development team, configuring and developing both new and existing digital tools connected to one or several digital capabilities within Product Master Data Management.
In the role you will:
Collaborate with the product owner to understand business and user needs
Design, deliver and verify the optimal technical solutions
Develop and maintain technical documentation
Continuously benchmark and analyze on digital tool performance

Qualifications
Qualifications as a Software Engineer Trainee you need to have some skillset around:
Modern Web development
Javascript/Json, C#/Java and middleware messaging tools like Kafka
Cloud design/architecture
A constant desire for improvement

We work in an international environment which could lead to some travelling but primary location for this assignment is Älmhult. Please note that we have extraordinary times in the world with during Covid-19, which means that we are currently working remotely.
