Trainee translator (Finnish-Swedish), Helsinki (or other location)

We are looking for a motivated trainee translator to join our translator team for a period of 4–6 months. You will be working with our customers’ translation projects and translating from Finnish to Swedish.
Your educational background is in translation studies or linguistics, but no previous work experience in translation is required. We will provide induction training for our translation tools and processes and you will have the support of our experienced translator team. During the trainee period you will gain valuable experience for your future career. We are especially interested in candidates who are planning a career as a freelance translator, and we wish to continue the collaboration with such trainees in the long term.
You will be located at our office in Helsinki, Vaasa or Turku. Remote working is also possible. The position is for a fixed term (4–6 months). An internship subsidy from your university will be considered as an advantage. The monthly salary is 1300 euros.
