We believe in the power of people and will challenge and support you to reach your full potential. Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.

What’s on offer:
We have an exciting opportunity for a talented technical expert to join the global Learning Solutions team at Volvo Cars.  The team is responsible for the planning, development and delivery of all central learning activities that support our retailer teams around the globe.  This is a new role, designed to reinforce the technical capabilities in the team and to support identified projects such as:

We are looking for the right individual who can step into the role of Trainer & Content Developer – Aftersales and create effective training content; both digital and face to face.  The role will see you working closely with the wider L&D team as well as colleagues from across Volvo Cars, building the development activities that help us to drive performance improvement across the retailer network.
 To do this we expect that you’ll have a good mix of the following:
* Automotive technical background/master technician equivalent
* A keen interest in new and emerging automotive technologies
* Experience working with HV drivetrains
* Experience of developing technical training content
* The ability to demonstrate & train technical operations confidently
* Experience in managing your own portfolio of projects
* Knowledge of Volvo Cars systems and processes (Highly desirable)
* Up to date knowledge of different learning styles and methods (desirable)
* Damage repair experience (desirable)

What do we need:
This role could provide the next development step for individuals from a range of current positions.  We are searching for someone with a comprehensive automotive technical background, but it’s possible that you might not be in a training role today.  You might currently be in a technical expert or support role where you’re regularly having to explain or describe complex technical problems.
This role could equally suit someone who has experience as a technical trainer at a national level, looking to make the next career step into a global role.
 Whatever your current role, you should be comfortable with balancing the challenges of working in a high-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy, whilst still being able to work effectively as part of a multi-skilled team.
Location:
We operate from Volvo Cars headquarter in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is therefore the preferred location for the ideal candidate. Alternative locations in Sweden and Europe can be discussed if expertise strongly matches the desired profile.
