Arbetsbeskrivning
Dellner is one of the world’s leading suppliers of train connection systems, with 80 years of experience in the rail industry. Founded in 1941, we have years of tested, proven experience in producing safe and reliable train connections, and providing innovative, state-of-the-art and cutting-edge products for our customers.
Based in Falun, Sweden, with 22 subsidiaries around the world and more than 1000 employees globally, Dellner continues with its steady, robust growth in couplers, gangways, front hatches, dampers and crash energy management, as well as the service segment of the rail industry.
In 2019 Dellner Couplers was acquired by EQT, a Swedish private equity company. Quality and prompt delivery will remain our number one focus along with our relationship with the car builders and operators in all regions. Strategic investments in the expansion of our existing product portfolio and new product areas like freight and digitalization will also get our full attention during the coming year, insuring our place as market leader.
One of Dellner’s strategy enablers is to create a “World Class Organization” and a significant part is to set the platform for and develop Dellner Academy. Based on that do we now search for a Training Coordinator who will be responsible for the content and development of Dellner Academy it’s structure. The role starts as a one-year project and is part of our talent program. This means that you will be the pilot for the development of our coming talent program and make a change for the future!
Mapping of mandatory trainings on a global level has already been done and these are the base for how we build the foundation for the Academy; training catalogue, develop and clarify internal career opportunities and in parallel to this also run our talent programs with the purpose to be more self-sufficient when it comes to internal promotions on managers and senior positions.
Key areas
The training coordinator will be responsible for both design and development of Dellner’s training programs; the outsourced ones as well as the in-house ones. To choose appropriate training methods per case and manage trainings for corporate-, onboarding- and on the job-programs will be an important part. You will be responsible for the annual mapping of trainings and a natural part of the role is to have an ongoing dialogue with managers to identify training needs and map out development plans for teams and individuals. In addition, also choose appropriate training methods per case and do the marketing of available training opportunities to employees and managers.
A central part of the role is to develop the Intranet for Dellner Academy and to be responsible for the global external career page at Dellner.com. We are in the start phase (spring 2021) of implementing a Global HR system and you will, within this project, be responsible for the competence module implementation.
You will secure an efficient onboarding-process for new employees at Dellner HQ in Falun and support locally with onboarding process standards, manage and maintain in-house training facilities and equipment as well as lead some of Dellner’s digitalization initiatives within the area and act as our system expert for e-learning.
To summarize; you support our Global Talent Manager in the process of developing our employees to next level!
