The West Atlantic Group is one of the markets leading providers of dedicated airfreight service to European National Mail Organisations and airfreight capacity to Global Integrators and freight forwarders.
The Group has a well-established geographic network and operate a customised aircraft fleet of 40 aircrafts, which includes the British Aerospace ATP, Bombardier CRJ 200 PF, Boeing 737-300 / 400/ 800.
West Atlantic was founded in 1962 and its headquartered in office buildings at Malmö Airport, Sweden. Operation are performed all over Europe with a staff around 500 employees. West Atlantic holds two Air Operating Certificates, one in UK and one in Sweden, which together operate over 24,000 flights serving more than 50 destinations. Focus is on safe operations, high reliability, and customer service.
We are looking for a Training Coordinator, who, in cooperation with our Quality Manager, will keep our technical training as well as our authorisations within our growing Part-145 organisation up to date in accordance with EASA rules.
You will also work with and be responsible for our reporting system (Safety Management System).
Tasks:
• Your tasks will partly be keeping our training system up to date as well as actively working with updating training courses, qualifications, and authorisations in accordance with regulatory rules.
• You will plan training courses in coordination with our Planning Department.
• You will make applications to the authorities, i.e. apply for or re-new Part-66 certificates.
• You will distribute reports from our reporting system ensuring that they get to the tight person/department, you will also handle and respond to some reports.
• We appreciate flexibility as this is a position that will develop and contain some variety.
Experience/knowledge:
• Knowledge in the flight technical matters is an advantage.
• Experience from the training area or interest in developing within the area.
• Competent Microsoft Office user.
• Fluency in English and Swedish.
• Knowledge of EASAs rules is an advantage.
• Good administrative skills.

As you will be working at Malmo Airport you need a driving license and access to a car.
