ABB Process Automation Business Area is writing the future of safe and smart operations in energy, process and hybrid industries. For Energy Industries Division (PAEN) an important part of this is to deliver lifecycle services, augmented by software and digital solutions to drive value for our customers. To show the capabilities of our systems and solutions as well as technical training plays an important role in the offerings delivered to our customers and to our partners. To better provide high value training to our customers in Northern Europe, Energy industries is simplifying and improving the delivery of training services as well as developing new and enhanced training offerings to Energy and Industry customers in the region.
Reporting to Service Manager, you will in this position have the opportunity to meet customers every day. Together with the ABB sales team support each customer to find solutions to become more competitive in the market and in parallel strengthen ABB position for winning orders.
In this role you will be responsible for the training within Energy Industries for the Northern Europe Region and the Demo and Ability Center in Västerås.


Your responsibilities
Develop and lead the daily training business in our new and up-to-date facilities.
On a strategical level you will continuously define the customer value, develop, market and customize the training offering by working close with Process Control Platform (Product organization).
Find synergies within the region to have an efficient delivery organization to meet both current and upcoming customer needs. The participants are colleagues, partners and end-users coming from the energy and industry sector.
You will also be responsible for the external customer area with demo room and ABB Ability Center. Here you will have the pleasure to meet customer and be strategically involved with ABB sales organization and occasionally be a part in hosting workshops and demos to create a long-lasting experience for visitors.
You will be financially responsible and initially lead a team with five instructors with good opportunities to grow.



Your background
You probably have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or in other relevant fields.
You are passionate about developing a long term and successful business.
To succeed in this role, we believe you’re good at building sustainable relations and working in international teams.
Preferably, you understand ABBs control system and have previous manager experience.
If you have experience in marketing via different channels and value-based selling, with focus on services incl training, it is meriting.
We expect you to have a great interest in digitalization and how that helps our customers to develop their and ABB’s business.
