Training Manager

Your role

We are looking for a training manager to our training organization, approved by the Swedish Military Aviation Authority, FLYGI.
You will be responsible for ensuring that the training fulfill the requirements of the RML and EMAR regulations. You will also have the responsibility for the certification process of our newly developed type course on the Gripen E/F fighter. As a part of the certification duties, you will have close contact with FLYGI.

Responsibilities

- Update and develop training processes in the Maintenance Training Organization Exposition, MTOE

- Develop and update training materials in accordance to our MTOE

- Lead the instructors, approved by FLYGI, in the related training activities

- Act as Chief Technical Manager, to approve newly developed training within the Gripen E/F fighter program

- Coordinate training needs to other development projects internally Saab



Your profile

You are responsible, self-motivated and structured. As training manager in the organization it requires a lot of interaction and cooperation, your social capabilities are of very high importance.

Required skills

- Experience of aviation regulations especially RML V6 and/or V7 and/or EASA/EMAR part 145 and/or part 147

- Understanding for training in the aviation industry

- Good communication skills in English, verbal and written

- Open minded and tolerant

It is an advantage if you have educational experience and / or experience to develop training materials, as well as experience in leading and motivating others.
The position requires that you will be approved by FLYGI together with a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.

Aviation Services, one of the business units within business area Support and Services. Aviation Services deliver a wide range of services and support solutions for the military and commercial aviation market.
Aviation Technical Training section consists of 15 employees who develop and implement technical training for aircraft technicians and pilots. The section is growing to meet customer needs for training.
