THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES
We at Global Service and Driver Training department(GST) in Service Market Technology(SMT), Global Bus Technology; deliver world-class knowledge management solutions to our market trainers. We work in close cooperation with market colleagues, other SMT functions, Product development teams and Volvo Trucks. We develop training content & competence and transfer this competence to market trainers who in turn train technicians. You will join a team of globally based colleagues in Mexico, Sweden, and Poland.
From an uptime and customer satisfaction perspective, knowledge management is of utmost importance to customer and VBC. Global Service Training is responsible to build and transfer this.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
The Learning Management system (LMS) is an important platform that not only serves as a tool to store and retrieve trainings but also an interactive one stop shop for all retail competence needs. With LMS administration as a primary responsibility, and as a Navigator Key User for retail you will be working with both operational questions (maintenance and support) and development. Another part of this role focusses on developing and maintaining training content that facilitates competence transfer. The position reports to Manager, Global service Training.
Main activities and responsibilities:
1.Develop and maintain training content that facilitates competence transfer:
Collect technical information and pictures.
Develop illustrations and text (Adobe, Corel, Catia Composer)
Develop other interactive content (Adobe Captivate, Camtasia)
2. Training coordinator & LMS administrator
Manage and administer GST training calendar and events globally: Mainly in areas of enrollment and certification
Liaison with Volvo trucks to implement and test new functionalities in Navigator.
Be single point of contact to Volvo Buses retail market LMS needs.
Maintain and develop training and certification paths.
Maintain training portfolio including administering all training courses on Navigator and SharePoint.
Conduct LMS administration training for new administrators.
Upload content (tests and online courses) in Navigator
Support Volvo Buses market users with operating Navigator
3. Other tasks
Administration of GST internal and external SharePoint including Training events and material news
Collect inputs and publish KPI quarterly.
Publish quarterly GST newsletters for Bus retail.

REQUIRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE University degree within IT management, process management or equivalent
Understanding and developing technical information and illustrations
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Fluent in written and spoken English
Strong customer focus
Experience from Learning management development is merit
Understanding of retail network setup
Interest in digital tools in learning arena and how they can be applied in the Volvo Buses competence development digital eco system
