Training specialist to lead our Academy platform

Nexus is a high-tech company within the security industry. We have clients and partners around the world, and we need to ensure they are up-to-date with our solutions, so they can utilize the full power of Nexus SmartID concept.

Therefor we are looking for an amazing educator and event planer for the role as Academy Manager.

We are a global company and we have offices around Europe and possible locations for this role is both Berlin and Ettlingen, but we do prefer you join our HQ in Stockholm due to the fact most of our product department is located here. No matter which office you choose, there will be some traveling in this position.

What will you be doing at Nexus?
As our Academy Manager you will take lead of all our training activities when it comes to partner, customer and employee education. Besides of maintaining up-to-date trainings and making sure that the content is aligned with our products, you will be responsible for our overall Academy platform. In a nutshell, you will be responsible for the whole concept, you are not just an event planer or a LMS administrator even though those aspects will be a big part of this role as well. Your ideas, best practise implementation and long-time strategy will shape the entire Academy.

You will develop and maintain a regular training calendar, including new courses, webinars, delta trainings and other events in our LMS (Ilias). Your main focus will be our external clients, but you will also support internal trainings.

You will help controlling the product knowledge of the various departments and partners with our LMS, e.g. through training, regular distribution of information and advice on product and sales-specific issues in collaboration with the leads of the teams.

To ensure our partners and clients know about our amazing courses, one part of this position is to promote what we do within our network and to coordinate with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the education packages are crisp, relevant and up-to-date.

You will create innovative storyboards and videos with a variety of tools, including scripting, content design, production, and digital post-processing.

Who are you?
As stated above, this is a role for someone with a broad knowledge about e-learning, event planning and a great educator. Our products and services are complex tech, and you will need to be able to translate this into structured training material. You will have the end-to-end responsibility and this will be a demanding role.

You will work in close collaboration with Product Owners, Marketing and Sales.

Therefore we think you have many years of relevant experience, preferable from a high-tech industry, as well as a degree that match the needs we have (this could be within the fields of education, technical training, B.Sc/MSc within engineering etc).

But most important is your “can do” attitude. You are expected to take ownership of the Academy as such and you are the sort of person who rolls up the sleeves and enjoys the challenge. You are great on adding structure and are self-sustaining. Even though you don’t need to have a previous knowledge about PKI-solutions and Security, your inborn curiosity will ensure you are an expert in no time!
