What do we offer?
At Global Online Experience we are transforming Volvo Cars’ business model and are re-shaping the way we offer products to consumers. To support the execution of tactics, increase the speed to market and accelerate the commercial transformation, we are looking for a hands-on and creative communications person, focusing on internal communication to join our team.
You will report to Head of Communications for Commercial Operations, work closely with the communication colleagues within the Commercial Operations Communications team, and all parts of the Global Online Experience team.
What you will do
In this position you will create understanding around online sales and Global Online Experience’s role in the development and success of Volvo Cars and the commercial transformation we are facing. You will be empowering the Global Online Experience teams by enabling dialogue, driving engagement and understanding through relevant communication and channels.
You will plan, develop, and manage tactical communication using clever editorial opportunities and smart digital tools. And your main areas of responsibility will be:
• Handling Global Online Experience internal communication strategy and planning (editorial, channels) and evaluate and measure communication initiatives.
• Drive and deliver tactics related to the Global Online Experience agenda such as weekly calls and newsletters and create content for presentations, videos, letters, webcasts, townhalls etc.
• Take active part in the transformation to help create engagement and understanding of where we are heading.
• Source stories for the global intranet.
• Proactively identify communication opportunities and coordinate a pool of ambassadors and speakers.
• Map communication needs and be the point of contact and the communications advisor within Global Online Experience. This includes among other things to support in communications related to employer branding, recruitment, internal events and engagement.
You and your skills
We are looking for someone who is wickedly creative, digitally savvy and has proven skills in tactical communication (writing, planning, channels) and an interest for our new commercial business. You have relevant experience in communication and of course outstanding English skills.
You may have a degree in communication, but more importantly, are used to work in a changing environment and understands the important role communication has within change management.
