Arbetsbeskrivning

About this opportunity
The future will look very different and the future starts today. We are re-inventing the services provider experience and intend to accelerate the latest innovations seen in both mobile and cloud.

Ericsson Digital Services does this by delivering outstanding software, solutions, and platforms with leading technologies, built and delivered by the best people. Now we’re taking the next step, demonstrating web scale with an iconic user experience for our customers and their customers, and therefore be the partner of choice for service providers.

Ericsson’s Business Area Digital Services (BDGS) provides solutions and platforms in OSS, BSS, Telecom Core, Communication Services, and Cloud Infrastructure with focus on Communication Service Provides globally.

The BDGS level Transformation office is responsible for driving the cloud native and digital transformation journey to next level of automated digital services business. It is a new unit being formed mandated to take earlier established strategy definitions to business realities, driving BDGS-wide strategy execution. As the market evolves, the HOW in selling, developing, and delivering software becomes as important for competitiveness as the WHAT. If you want to be part of a new team from day 1, and jointly explore new ways to drive strategy execution and increase competitiveness – then look no further.

A key part of the cloud native transformation for our customers is the ability to perform in-service upgrades in an automated way. The 5G core business momentum where Ericsson is a clear leader is putting this area in the center of the DGS execution priorities for 2022 and this aspect of the cloud native transformation will be driven by the prioritized Snowdrop program. The program is established, and we are now looking for the person who will drive this strategic transformation program towards clearly defined long-term objectives and key results. The program is one of the vital few transformation programs at BDGS level and comes with the matching mandate. The work will be driven with tangible key results' month by month, with large support across all involved SAs and MAs, and with strong executive support to remove barriers as needed. The program has a small but strong dedicated team across the full scope, and also a large in-direct influence sphere. Imagine what is made possible when a strong and insightful execution focusing on one objective meets a business-driven demand to transform.

The Snowdrop program leader will work next to the other vital few transformation initiatives which also means there will be colleagues to share standard methodologies with or get support from when needed.

We are looking for a cloud native transformation program leader with excellent networking skills together with a core strength in realizing results in a structured and timely approach with a steadfast perseverance and integrity.

The program leader will work closely with BDGS Head of Transformation, and other transformation initiatives across BDGS and market areas.

You will!
Realize the Snowdrop vision of in-service and automated upgrades across innovative 5G core solutions with tangible key results and roadmap progress
Interact with the wider DGS community to secure decided results. You will have accountability for business-objectives together with clarity in directive
Secure fit for purpose workstream structure, focus, objectives and milestone-based plan

Ensure regular follow-up and information sharing within and outside of Snowdrop program

Contribute to overall transformation strategy representing your area

To be successful in the role you have:
Experience and good track-record in inspiring change projects
