Together with our production, logistics, and maintenance experts, you will evaluate, demonstrate, and implement cutting-edge technologies within Factory 4 Tomorrow. Volvo Construction Equipment have several possible topic proposals:
Virtual Reality Factory Layout Planning: Demonstrate and evaluate design and verification tools of factory layouts
Production Flow and Energy Optimization: Demonstrate how production processes is streamlined and energy consumption minimized simultaneously
Balancing Production and Operator Well-being: Demonstrate how production efficiency and the well-being of our operators can be considered at the same time.
Digital Work Instructions: Develop and evaluate digital guides for operators.
Internet of Things (IoT): Demonstrate and evaluate a sustainability dashboard, including production and environmental parameter monitoring.
Computer Vision: Demonstrate how computer vision can support process and production quality control.
Predictive Maintenance: Demonstrate how AI can predict machine failure/stop
Next-Generation Logistics: Evaluate Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR).
Real-Time Location Systems: Evaluate precise location tracking solutions.
Industry 5.0 Methodology and Tools: Develop strategies for assessing maturity and opportunities in Industry 5.0.
Automation of Welding Stations: Describe and evaluate concepts for automating the welding processes
Digital Twin of Welding Robot/Manufacturing Machine: Create and evaluate a digital twin, i.e., communication in both direction between virtual and physical equipment.
Collaboration and Decision-Making Tools: Innovate and evaluate tools that facilitate collaboration and informed decision-making.
