Translator for Fast-Growing Online Store

About the position:
Lyko is a Swedish company with one leg in retail, our physical stores and salons, and one leg in the online market, where we are Sweden's largest web shop in the hair care and beauty category. Lyko sells for over 2 billion SEK every year and has over 900 employees. We also expanded into the Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, German and Polish markets a while ago.

As a translator, you get the opportunity to have a key role at Lyko in the continued growth in our Dutch market. Your focus in this role is to translate Lyko's product texts and marketing materials (banners, newsletters, social media ads) from English to Dutch.

You work in a small, committed, team of 3 people (two customer service representatives and one influencer marketing coordinator) which means a lot of responsibility, but also the opportunity to influence the development as the office grows.

Your main responsibility will be translations but as we are a small team, we would like someone who is also open to help out with different tasks whenever it is needed. This applies especially for our customer service, which is very important to us.

So we are looking for someone who is willing to get in contact with our customers and help out during certain times. The same goes obviously both ways, we want to have a work environment where everyone helps each other and we work together great as a team, so this means you need to have a certain level of flexibility. Teamwork is really important to us and in the end, we are all in this journey together!

Our office is located in Amsterdam, and we are currently working from there around 3 times a week.

- Have excellent English and Dutch language skills in both speaking and writing
- Learn new IT systems quite easily
- Probably have an education, but your skills are most important to us

- Have translation experience…
