 The controls team at AVL in Sweden is developing control systems for customers both in Sweden and globally. The development activities range between complete systems development to system analysis and development of single software components. Projects cover engine development from conventional vehicles via hybrid technologies to pure electric vehicles. We are also covering new technologies such as autonomous drive and security. 
The automotive industry is seeing a revolution in drivetrain technology. As part of the transmission development team you will be responsible for development of cutting edge development of transmission for customers from around the world. You will also be part of a team of world leading technology teams for transmission development. 
 
 Your responsibilities: 
Analyze and develop requirements for ratio selection and ratio control applications
Implement and test solutions in both simulated environment and vehicle
Actively participate in transmission technology discussions within the team, within AVL globally and with customers 
Develop simulated xIL test environments 

 
Your profile: 
B.Sc.,/M.Sc./PhD within the areas of physics, mechatronics, electronics, robotics or similar
At least 2 years of experience within transmission development
Experience from verification of embedded systems (xIL)
Swedish B driving license
Fluent in English and preferably Swedish
