In the factory in Falkenberg we are around 400 employees. We are a modern organization with high technology machines and mindset. Technology development and upgrading project are constantly on our agenda. Our productions are within fast moving consumer goods. In our factory we are producing diapers, incontinence products mostly for markets within Central- and East Europe.

About the role
As a Transport Coordinator, you will act as a coordinator between all involved parties in transport management; Central Transport Planning, Customer service, Supply Service, Warehouse operations and our carriers. You will support the daily transport planning operations, work with projects/activities to improve the transport management processes and the cooperation between all involved parties. Following up on carrier performance will also be part of your activities and you will contribute to some projects driven by the distribution team (e.g. transport tender).
Main accountabilities and responsibilities
First escalation level in case of transport issues, local go-to person
Direct contact between regional Essity business, Central Transport Planning and Carriers (daily operations and troubleshooting)
Manage none-conformities (processes, systems, carrier, masterdata) and solve issues during the planning process
Daily coordination with warehouses
Coordination with Customer Service
Communication with Supply Service (replenishment)
Provide new / changed master data to Transport Planner
IT-issue resolution on a day-to-day basis
Supports System and Process Developments
Review / propose improvements on transport planning scope

Who you are
You are passionate about people, processes and about providing excellent support towards stakeholders, colleagues and third parties. To be successful in the role you need to be a communicative team-player who operates with a positive and pragmatic can-do attitude, embracing driving change management and dealing with ambiguity and complexity.
Preferably 3+ years Transport Management experience with understanding of end-to-end delivery
University degree or apprenticeship in Supply Chain / Transport or equivalent work experience in transport and warehouse operations
Troubleshooting skills
People management skills
Excellent English and Swedish language skills, written and oral
SAP and Transport Management System (Blue Yonder) key user
Business Application Knowledge
Supply Chain process and logistics know-how
Transport Management
Cross functional understanding
