About the position
Perido is looking for a Transport Coordinator for our client, a major player in the automotive industry. The position is located in Gothenburg.
Your daily tasks
As a Transport Coordinator, you will oversee the planning and tracking of shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries. Key tasks include scheduling, coordinating with drivers and customers, managing transportation documents, and resolving any logistics issues. You'll play a vital role in optimizing routes and ensuring smooth operations, making this a fast-paced and rewarding position for those who enjoy problem-solving and logistics management.
Your characteristics
To excel as a Transport Coordinator, you should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications:
Computer skills
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written English
Meritorious
Operational background and/or experience in logistics processes, transport (road and rail) or freight forwarding
A bachelor's degree in supply chain/logistics or equivalent relevant work experience
Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment until 2025-02-07. Start 2024-10-21.
