About the position
Perido is looking for a Transport Coordinator for our client, a major player in the automotive industry. The position is located in Gothenburg.
Your daily tasks
As a Transport Coordinator, you will join the Inbound Logistics Road & Rail Operations team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of production materials across Europe. Working closely with the team, you'll help guarantee that road and rail shipments arrive according to the schedules of our production facilities. You'll actively manage any issues that arise, using your problem-solving skills to minimize disruptions and maintain smooth operations. Your ideas will be valued as we continuously improve and develop our processes and working methods.
Your characteristics
To excel as a Transport Coordinator, you should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll work closely with drivers, customers, and internal teams. You should be a problem-solver, capable of thinking quickly and prioritize under unexpected challenges. Additionally, being proactive, adaptable, and able to work under pressure will help you succeed in this role. We also believe that you can think outside the box and are keen to see the big picture in everything you do.

Qualifications:
Computer skills
Experience with MS Excel
Understanding of operational planning and resource allocation
Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written English

Meritorious:
Operational background and/or experience in logistics processes, transport (road and rail) or freight forwarding
A bachelor's degree in supply chain/logistics or equivalent relevant work experience

Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment until 2025-03-31. Start asap.
