Axel Arigato is offering a full-time position for an ambitious and motivated Transport Manager to join our logitics team at our Gothenburg HQ.

The Transport Manager work is driven by controlling and streamlining processes to reduce costs, but also developing processes to increase the company's sales and customer experience. The position will also handle supplier contacts as well as monitoring and control of supplier service and SLA. Furthermore, handle transport complaints and constantly work to improve existing processes and routines. The transport manager has a key role in the customer journey for all channels including inbound supply chain.

Work includes but not limited to:

• Drive improvements, efficiencies, and daily management with external transport partners
• Monitor and setup of transport booking processes and systems (TMS)
• Setup of new transport methods for all channels (Online, retail, wholesale and inbound)
• Monitor and secure transport processes for all channels and returns
• Responsible for KPI follow-up in your areas and deliver results accordingly
• Update and follow-up on standard operating procedures concerning transport
• Capacity planning and forecasting for all channels
• Inbound control in form of following up on correct notification, packing, loading, and labelling
• Collect data and follow up on the company's transport costs and budget
• Managing incoterms and transport documentation (packing lists, CMR, Commercial invoice etc)
• Trading agreements and Customs process

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s or master's degree in relevant subject matter
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in transport managment, or freight forwarding
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous.
• Project management skills and comfort handling pressured deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office escpecially excel and powerpoint
• Experience in Transport management systems such as Centiro, Unifaun and/or Logtrade is an advantage
• Understanding of International Trade, Compliance and Customs regulations
• An excellent knowledge of export and import controls is essential for this role
• Strong Analytical skills
• Fluent in English
