The Global Technology Area Verification & Validation - GTA V&V is driving several major activities within Autonomous Driving (AD) development chain including AD Integration, Verification & Validation, System Integration and Data Analytics.


The Transport Mission & Vehicle Testing team within GTA V&V is driving innovative test method development, and test execution as part of System Verification and Validation of AD products. The test environments used are physical vehicles and simulation environment. You´ll work alongside talented group of colleagues who respect each other´s differences and seek to understand fresh perspectives.

The positions will be located in Gothenburg, Sweden.


What we have to offer
As Transport Mission & Vehicle Test Engineer, you will perform test analysis of all inputs available, as well as create test cases and integrate/verify/validate AD functions/Use Cases and other parts of our future Automated Driving solutions. You will do this mainly on real trucks and/or simulation environment. You are eager to participate and support in development of process/method improvements in order to increase product quality as well as the team´s operational excellence.

If you´ve worked with physical vehicle testing, this is the role for you! Other requirements we see beneficial for the position are:
A degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience
Documented experience as Functional Verification Engineer on system level
Experience in physical vehicle testing, preferably trucks, busses or heavy machines
AD/ADAS Functional Verification/Testing experience is a strong merit
Driver license C (truck) is a merit
