BSH Home Appliances AB is looking for a Transport Operations Manager!
In the role of Transport Operations Manager, you will have great opportunities to influence BSH's future operations in Northern Europe. The role involves great responsibility with developing work tasks in a fast-moving environment and you report directly to the Head of Logistics Operations - Northern Europe. The position is placed in Nykvarn.
Your tasks
• Responsible for all transport management tasks, including transportation planning for inbound/outbound volumes and customs operation tasks
• Responsible for transport operations tasks, such as drivers reception, in/outbound shipments, EMB creation and making sure that all procedures are followed
• Collaborate with all departments and stakeholders, especially Network development team regarding carriers
• Follow supplier and contract management (supplier performance, KPI’s)
• Owner of transportation performance KPI in Nykvarn
• Responsibility includes five transport planners and three transport operations assistants who will report to you
• Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders
Your profile
• You are an experienced manager, preferably within transportation/logistics area
• A university degree in Logistics or business administration with a focus on supply chain management / logistics
• At least 2-3 years’ experience of similar work
• Good knowledge in transportation and warehousing
• Good analytical and knowledge in business/logistics systems such SAP, S4 Hana and/or other systems
• Good knowledge of English in both speech and writing (Swedish is a plus)

As a person, you are result-oriented, solution-oriented, and have good analytical and negotiation skills. To succeed in the role it is important that you can demonstrate a genuine drive and have a “can do” attitude with good planning and organizational skills.
