Transport Operations Manager ,IKEA DC Älmhult
1 year temporary assignment

As a Customer Delivery Transport Operations Manager, your main focus will be to lead, steer the Scandinavian CDT organization in order to reach agreed targets for all performance indicators (quality, service & cost) with Customer in focus. You will support development of the operational process and the IT-landscape related to CDT Operations. You will secure the implementation of new working methods, IT-tools, contracts and Social & Environmental topics.

Your main focus will be:

to manage the Execution of Operation and I am accountable for Availability/Precision, Leadtime and Cost within the countries
time to steer and manage the planning process.
Receive forecast and authorize delivery matrix and capacity ro
to be accountable for Contract management in my area /countries
to identify improvements areas within the Operational process, IT-landscape, Contract package
implementation of new working methods, systems and contracts within countries
to secure and develop an active win-win relation with our Carriers
to be an IKEA ambassador in promoting the IKEA values
to develop a good relation with the regional Retail and Supply organization, related to CD
to lead, steer and develop the team
to secure an efficient information and communication flow

To be successful in this role you have the leadership abilities to develop an organisation and deal with many changes. You enjoy leading people!

You have a university degree in Logistics or Economics or equivalent and four to six years working experience in a management position preferably within retail, logistics, and transport or related. You have the customer in focus and always strive to reach customer success. You are able to get things done, with the desire to question current ways of working and to strive for quick, lean and simple solutions. You are capable to develop and to lead an organization in a fast changing environment and to deal with many changes
