Transport North Europe is responsible for all IKEA transports starting in the Nordic countries that mean creating & maintaining sustainable transport set-ups in close cooperation with external business partners as well as the internal actors in the IKEA Supply Chain.

Transport Planner
IKEA Svenska AB, Älmhult


We are looking for temporary support in our transport planning team. As a transport planner you will work in close cooperation with our carriers and other players in the Supply Chain to find the optimal transport solution.

Your main focus will be:
to execute transport bookings
to monitor the shipments from the start to the receiver
to ensure that the transport bookings are in accordance with IKEA?s routines and working methods
to investigate and solve claim issues
to contribute to develop the transport set-ups

We are looking for you who are educated/ experienced in logistics/supply chain. We believe that you are service-minded with excellent communication skills and you work in a structured way. You will work in an international environment and need to be fluent in English both written and verbal. Basic knowledge in Swedish is required. We believe you have plenty of energy and curiosity to learn. You are also sharing our values and want to take responsibility for making these values a living reality in our everyday life.
