Transport & Trade Specialist

In this position, you will have a key role in ABB Motors and Generators. Reporting to the Planning & Fulfillment Manager, you support the business to ensure goods are shipped whilst meeting quality, legal and costs parameters. You will drive change and improve transport/logistics processes to optimize product and material deliveries.
Your responsibilities
Facilitating material movement and scheduling utilizing various transportation software systems, and handling customs and trade application
Working with transport service providers and brokers to effectively execute processes, assisting in obtaining permits, and preparing proper transport documentation
Preparation of necessary export documentation and certificates
Optimizing transport operation by choosing best transport option
Working with other parts of Operations (manufacturing, planning, project management) to streamline end-to-end processes

Your background
Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or the equivalent education in a related specialized field plus more than two years of related experience
Logistics experience and knowledge in import/export procedure for non-EU is advantageous
Strong communication skills are part of your strengths
Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken alike
Good knowledge in SAP is a plus
