Arbetsbeskrivning
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Traveling and continually negotiating with lodging providers for "best pricing" and corporate rates for lodging in support of business unit requirements, costs and benefits.
Managing the operations, contracts and cost allocations for Nordic Region.
Maintaining a 24/7 direct service line point of contact with servicing travel agents. Service provided after hours, weekends and holidays.
To provide excellent training and service to enhance existing industry relationships
To conduct regular communication with agency partners both at head office and local level using a variety of communication methods
To create growth through managing key account partnerships
Reviews, recommends, establishes and updates corporate wide travel center performance metrics.
Works within company budgetary guidelines to leverage spending and authorizations to maintain zero profitability.
Writing travel procedures and identifies and shares best practices and business processes.
Resolve all complaints without delay, to the satisfaction of both the agent and passengers. If necessary, liaise with Inside Sales, Customer Services Department and Head of Inside Sales.
Continually seeking strategic initiatives to explore cutting edge travel technologies.
Approves all travel requests before it's disbursed for payment.
EDUCATION
More than 5 years of experience working as a Travel Manager
8-10 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree

· Fluency in English and Swedish (Chinese, Korean or other Far Eastern Languages are meritorious)
