What we offer you
You will get a seat in the forefront of the Group Treasury digital transformation. You will get hands-on insights into global Treasury operations in a multinational corporation. You will be assigned digitalization challenges where you will propose (and implement?) new digital solutions within finance. We hope to learn from each other and develop together.


Where you fit in
Treasury Digital Transformation (TDT) is a newly established function within Treasury Operations and Digitalization (TO&D). The other two functions reporting to TO&D is Back Office & Liquidity as well as Cash Management. TDT responsibility is to act as a catalyst and facilitating function for the digital transformation at Group Treasury globally. TDT task is to accelerate our digital transformation and ensure that the most value creating solutions are prioritized and adopted for processes and data analytics.


Who you are
You are a team player with a genuine interest in digital transformation, data analytics and finance. You have an open and collaborative attitude with a solution mindset. You see great potential in digitalization and have ideas on how financial data can be used smarter. You dream big and you get things done!


You are in your third year of studies or more.
You can commit to 2-3 days of work per week during spring 2022, with flexibility around studies/exams. (Possibility for extension exist if we are a good match.)


You also probably have these qualifications
Min 3rd year University studies with Data science/Data analytics/or similar
Good understanding and interest in data analytics/cloud technology/automation
Curious about the potential of new technology to manage, share, and analyze data
Interest in financial markets
Like to find practical solutions to abstract problems
Fluent, verbal as well as written, in Swedish and English

What we do
Group Treasury is a global function within Group Finance. Our mission is to secure the Group’s payment capability and proactively manage financial risks. Responsibilities include Group funding, liquidity management, FX operations, Group capital structure, rating analysis, financial infrastructure, and adherence to Volvo Group Financial Risk Policy. We work closely with many stakeholders both within and outside the Volvo Group globally.
