Treasury Specialist

Power Grids Treasury is a newly created part of Finance function to enable a stand-alone Power Grids business for the divestment from ABB to Hitachi. We are now looking for two treasury specialists to join this team.
Support the delivery of core treasury operations in the respective cluster via subject matter expertise in core areas, such as cash & liquidity and transactional risk management.
Part of the Treasury cluster for Northern Europe, reporting to the cluster lead and interacts with the network of global operations external financial counterparts and other finance and business departments within the organization.
 Your responsibilities
Financial (bank / bank accounts) infrastructure
Local bank relationships including regular review of bank fees & charges
Cash management & liquidity forecasting
Daily cash positioning
Target balancing and management of pooling
Interactions with business planning & controlling, logistics and finance information from the local ERP to establish robust cash & liquidity forecasting
Risk management (business support, hedging)
Help local business with respect to financial risks in tenders and contracting by providing first line of support in the cluster
Regular analysis of hedge effectiveness
Governance, controls and reporting
Maintain design and operating effectiveness of key controls and support necessary management testing, internal and external audits

Your background
Corporate Treasury operations experience - 5+ years for treasury specialists
Finance degree (college / university, BSc or Master)
Other degree (engineering, other bachelor or master) considered if relevant on-the-job treasury experience in cash and risk management
Strong analytical skills and good problem solving
Strong communication and presentation skills
Fluent or working proficiency in English
Working knowledge of local language(s) in the respective cluster considered an advantage (e.g. Swedish, Norwegian, Danish in Nordics)
Efficient use of collaboration tools (Skype, Office 365 SharePoint and other collaboration tools)
Lean / agile mindset – focus on eliminating waste, over-complexity and employing efficient and target/output-oriented delivery
Familiarity of local/regional banking / finance solutions & infrastructure (as relevant to core role)
Considered as a plus: Familiarity or previous experience in wider finance and controlling areas (cost controlling, business controlling, accounting & reporting, other)
Considered as a plus: Work experience in regional / cluster delivery models (i.e. supporting processes and tasks beyond on country of operating
