As a candidate, you should have a research background in any of the areas of organization behaviour, leadership studies, organization theory or HRM and have an interest in conducting research that has practical implications for organizations.

We especially seek candidates with an international academic background (typically a PhD from outside Sweden) to further enrich DMO’s faculty diversity and international profile. You have strong qualities in both research and teaching.

In research, successful applicants will exhibit the ability to publish in top-tier peer-reviewed international journals, as evidenced by their research and publication pipeline and a presence in the international research community. They will also be open, considerate and sympathetic to different research paradigms including positivist, interpretive and critical approaches.

In teaching, experience from designing and delivering courses, as well as from coaching student projects is considered a merit. You are expected to show independence and to interact and constructively collaborate with faculty from other disciplines. The successful candidate will be part of the core faculty in management and organization. Teaching (in English) falls within the sought after areas on all educational levels (from Bachelor to Executive Education).

The teaching load for the successful candidates will be 20 to 40%. The tenure period is 6-years subject to a successful half-time evaluation. In both teaching and research, there are ample opportunities to engage in collaboration with the wide network of partner organizations at the Stockholm School of Economics, including among others ABB, Accenture, Ericsson, H&M, McKinsey & Co, Scania, SEB and many more.

Starting dates for the successful candidates are to be agreed upon.
