We are looking for two teaching assistants for a fixed-term position at the School of Science and Technology.

Background
We are looking for two teaching assistants for the course on Object-Oriented Programming, which is going to run in April-Maj 2021. The role of teaching assistants in this course is to assist students with their lab assignments as well as gradecompleted tasks.

If you have taken the OOP course before and feel confident with C++ programming and the big three concepts, please contact course coordinator Andrey Kiselev (andrey.kiselev@oru.se).

Duties and responsibilities
The work involves being available during the scheduled time to help and answer questions about the programming tasks in the course, as well as to correct the submitted tasks. 

The correction and assessment of the tasks is the basis for the final assessment of the course coordinator. In total, there are maximum 25 students per group, supervision and correction of lab assignments.

The employment is counted two weeks before the beginning of the course, to familiarize yourself with this year's tasks and the correction procedures.

Qualifications
To qualify for appointment as a teaching assistant, you need to be admitted to a first- or second-cycle course or study programme (bachelor’s or master’s level). Completion of the OOP course using C++ language is required.

The person we are looking for has, during their studies, demonstrated an interest in education- and student-related matters. We attach great importance to your personal qualities, such as the ability to work independently, that you have strong teamwork skills, are service minded and can prioritise among tasks.

Information
This is a part-time position (about 10-20 %) for 3 months. At Örebro University, salary is determined in accordance with our local collective agreement.
