Tyco Electronics Communications, Computer and Consumer Electronics Business Unit (CC&CE) are looking for a Sales Engineer based in Gothenburg. Sales Engineer The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic key customers around Gothenburg and top accounts in Norway, mainly in the Telecom Infrastructure industry.You will be responsible for driving the design-in of Tyco-Electronics products very actively and being responsible for all aspects of covering those accounts in a reliable and successful manner. You will preferably have experience in this industry and be able to work closely with development and design engineers as well as commercial people.One of the main areas of responsibility, but not limited to, will be interconnection products, cable assemblies, relays etc.You will also play a key role in making sure Tyco Electronics utilize and maximise global resources in order to grow business profitably.Qualifications & Personality To be successful you will need to demonstrate: "XFlexibility "XInitiative "XDrive and determination "XBe highly motivated in achieving excellence in everything you do "XThe required education level is BSc.EE or equivalent "X3-5 years of experience from the industry Previous experience in testing, manufacturing, or design engineering within the Telecom Industry is an advantage.Furthermore knowledge of products and technical basics in the RF environment would be of big advantage.It is also vitally important that you are experienced in and focussed on identifying new opportunities and following through on them.You are a good relationship builder, well organised and have a methodical approach to problem solving.There will be a high number of international contacts and therefore you will need to be fluent in English, both spoken and written.You will need to have the possibility to work out from an office at home.Application In this recruitment Tyco Electronics is working together with Hays.Mark your application ¡§Sales Engineer, ref 2143¡ .
