As an MW Group UAS Operations Technician, you will perform duties essential to the safe, efficient, and successful operation of unmanned aircraft systems (UAS). This will include project coordination, mission planning, "pilot-in-command" duties, conducting aerial surveys, and other activities necessary to achieve mission objectives. Further, you will develop and manage mission data collection, operate various payloads during survey execution, and verify accurate data collection.

The responsibilities of the UAS Operations Technician include:

• Overall mission responsibility to include planning, execution, reporting, compliance, and evaluation per MW Group policies and procedures
• Maintain currency in the operations and technical specifications of unmanned aircraft, sensors, payloads, data processing & management systems
• Draft and submit specialized approvals such as predefined risk assessments (PDRA) and specific operations risk assessments (SORA)
• Monitor and report all equipment maintenance status, inventory, and deficiencies
• Perform routine maintenance of unmanned equipment and payloads

We are seeking team members with backgrounds in any of the following:

• UAS pilot & sensor operator (military experience desirable, not required)
• UAS certification (must have EASA A1/A2/A3 license)
• Experience in UAS-based mapping/surveying, inspection, and security activities
• Data processing skills using various software (e.g., Pix4D, QGIS, Cloudstation, etc.)
• Industry knowledge of forestry, telecommunications, public utilities, security

• Flexible and ready to travel on short-notice
• Adaptable to various operating environments
• Able to work in field conditions or office
