UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.


The Consultant roll
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.


Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.


Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.


Required experience for this role:
-High competence in embedded software development, primarily C++
-Advanced user of the Linux environment, configuration and setup
-Experience from Scrum, Kanban development methods, ceremonies and ways of working
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)


Wanted competence:
-Advantage to have (some) Microwave DSP domain knowledge
-Advantage to have (some) MINI-LINK product understanding
-Advantage to have (some) experience from web tools, dashboard development




About the position
• Be the primary software developer in a team of highly skilled DSP system developers
• Be the main interface to the software architect (external to the team)
• As part of the team contribute with embedded software development to bridge the DSP hardware, FPGA functionality and the end product software
• Continue to build on the current Linux setup and solve complex problems for the team in that domain
• Short term port current functionality from the main on-chip CPU to two (yet untested) supporting CPUs to make room for future product software
