UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.
The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
- Good knowledge on Oracle database Architecture and Components.
- Experience in all routine DBA tasks including health checks, troubleshooting issues and installations.
- Experience of how to prepare and present statistical information for internal and external use.
- Good knowledge of PLSQL and SQL
-Knowledge of traces, tkprof and find poorly performing SQL, profiling, rewrite poorly performing SQL.
- Knowledge of oracle database wait events, Database and Application parameters
- Ability to fine tune the concurrent processing in large environment.
- Good knowledge of OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager)
- Good experience of schema design & performance tuning. Expert on query optimization.
- Good knowledge for Unix shell scripting.
- Knowledge and manage database Reports, Visualizations and Dashboards.
- Knowledge of automation for repeating database tasks

Meriting
-Knowledge on GCP (primary BigQuery)
- Knowledge of Campaigning tools like for example UNICA
- Knowledge of bigdata databases like Hive/Hbase and Impala
- Agile principles and WoW




Your tasks:
- Your will work as a Database Engineer
-the main tasks are to enhance and support our development, verification and production database environments.
-You will be responsible for configuration, upgrading, administrating, monitoring, troubleshooting, cloning, patching, backup and restore of Oracle Objects.
-You are responsible for reviewing application(Unica) databases, identify performance bottlenecks and fixing those.
-A key success factor is that you have solid Oracle DBA skills and previous experience in performance tuning in business critical systems.
