UCG 031702 Data Engineer

UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.


The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.


Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.


Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.


Required experience for this role:
-Bachelor's degree and/or MSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience


-1-3+ years of experience working for a technology company


-Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures and complexity analysis


-Fluency in an OOP language, such as Python, Java, C#

Meriting:
- Swedish
-Experience in ANSI SQL
-Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses and data lakes (such as BigQuery, Redshift, or similar)
-Interest in AI/ML, serverless architectures and experience in workflow orchestration (e.g. Airflow, Cloud Composer) as well as streaming data processing technologies (such as Apache Beam, Spark Streaming, Kafka Streams, or similar)




Your tasks:
• Work closely with data scientists, product teams to understand data and analysis requirements


• Design and build new dimensional data models and schema designs to improve accessibility, efficiency, and quality of data


• Drive the design, building, and launching of new data pipelines and data products in production
