UCG 031801 Devops Engineer/ Cloud

UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.


The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.


Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.


Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.


Required experience for this role:
• Experience with CI/CD in cloud environments
• Understanding of software development processes (branching strategies, unit testing, code analysis, release management)
• Experienced in Agile software development
• Familiar with package management processes
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code, for example with Ansible and Terraform
• Experienced in scripting (PowerShell, Shell scripting etc.)
• Experienced in version control tools


Fluent in English, written and spoken


Meritorious:
- Experience with: Jira, Jenkins, Azure, Bitbucket, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform




About the position
-You will be part of the team working with Advanced Analytics platform, dealing with DevOps tasks. The team works in a truly agile way, so priorities will be set with the team on a sprint or daily basis.


Key Areas of responsibility
• Maintenance and configuration of Jenkins, and creating and maintaining Jenkins pipelines
• Configuring and optimizing worker nodes
• Supporting containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
• Be a champion for infrastructure-as-code approach in multiple projects
• Supporting the code quality checks by automating Unit testing etc
• Implementing and roll out of a package management solution and vulnerability scans
