UCG 050202 Java Backend Developer

UCG/Radio Support is a consulting company based in Kista in northern Stockholm. Regardless placement you will be employed by UCG, with Swedish salary and benifits.
The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Eucation/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
-5+ years of experience programming in Java and experience architecting, designing, developing and maintaining software running on the Java platform
-Experience developing cloud-native applications running on GCP, AWS or Azure
-Are comfortable with the operability parts of software, have experience from Linux environments and using metrics and monitoring as feedback loops to improve software
-Know and care about sound engineering practices like agile, continuous delivery, test-driven development, defensive programming and circuit-breakers
-Are familiar with building distributed and scalable systems with a good understanding of data structures, algorithms and concurrency and know how to apply them to design pragmatic cost-efficient solutions
-Working language: English
Meritous
-A big plus if you have documented agile coaching experience with a proven track record of successfully facilitating continuous improvement work in a development team
