The Consultant role
As a consultant you may be placed at different customers. UCG will assist with extra training when needed. As a consultant we need you to be flexible and to easily adapt to a new environment.
Education/training
Our roles requires a basic technical education, sometimes university level.
Experience
We require at least 3 years of relevant job experience for all roles, mostly more.
Required experience for this role:
- Broad knowledge within IT, understanding of technical parts and metods used for software development
-Minimum 2 years of experience as a test analyst
-Be able to make accurate risk assessments
-Experience of acceptance test and system integration testing and XML-messages in a complex environment
-Experience in Agile software development practices (Automated testing, CI/CD etc)
-Comfortable in discussing product design and improvements
Work language: English


Meriting
- POS (Point in Sales) competence
-Experience from working with external suppliers
-Understand complexity with test environment/test data
-Experience or curiosity in POS Hardware test environmets


Job Description
- Work as a senior test engineer
- You will do Test planning, test execution, test reporting and quality assurance of IT services for retail solutions including software, hardware, infrastructure, processes and country rollout
-Design new test cases based on change requests and updating of existing test cases when requirements change
-Review deliverables from other team members (such as test cases)
-Creation of test plans and test reports and other test-related deliverables
-Collaborate with e.g. test managers, testers, project managers, requirements analysts, architects, internal and external suppliers in order to perform testing of releases in limited time frames
-Review of requirement documentation, review and assess test results from test execution
