FLIR Thermography develops infrared cameras and software used for e.g.identifying energy leaks of buildings, faulty equipment in manufacturing plants, gas leaks, etc.While traditionally being complex work tools for professionals, over time our products are becoming increasingly adapted for regular consumer markets.As a forerunner of innovation in our domain we focus on user experience, using the latest tools for developing graphical user interfaces that enables visual effects, animations and UI responsiveness on embedded devices. We are looking to strengthen our user experience team with a highly motivated user interface design engineer with a strong interest in how design can improve technology. You will be programming user interfaces for embedded cameras C/C++ and TML, which is an XML based language for TAT technology (see www.tat.se.) The environment is creative where your input will be valued.You will be working in a team of UX designers as well as business layer software engineers. Qualifications: - A good attitude towards the challenges of designing and developing user experience.- A keen interest in both design and technology.- Eager to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.- Good knowledge and skills in interaction design and/or visual design.- Hands on C/C++ programming skills.- Experience in developing graphical user interfaces, based on some form of xml-based descriptive language is an advantage (WPF, Silverlight, TAT, HTML ... ) - Recent graduate of media focused engineering program or similar.Some work experience is an advantage.- Excellent language skills in both Swedish and English.
