We’re now looking for a talented UI Designer to join us at this exciting journey ahead! This is a new position in our organization that will be organized within the Industrial Design Department. and we’re looking for a creative person with a big portion of drive who’s ready to make something really great out of it.

The company has two business areas, FoodTech and AirTech. In this role, you will be part of AirTech, which is a global leader in energy efficient air treatment for industrial and commercial applications. The site in Kista has 180 employees and offers newly renovated premises, tailored to the company’s needs. Open office spaces and meeting rooms are combined with social areas where you can play a game of table tennis or sit and socialize on the lovely rooftop terrace. Adjacent to the office, a few stairs down, you find our new laboratory.
Job description
Here you get to be a part of our new team focusing on building the future products and services for Munters, where you will be responsible for our user interface. You will be working with different interfaces such as our control systems, web applications and in some extend interaction design on the dehumidifiers. In your projects, you will work in cross-functional teams and will tackle all aspects of the design process often through interactive workshops and concepts sprints. You will think creatively and strategically, supporting dissecting business problems and using design methodologies to develop innovative outcomes that solve complex UI problems.
As an UI Designer you will:
• Deliver high quality visual, human-centered solutions on a variety of projects that integrate digital designs into products, services and environments
• Focus on detail and care for design execution, from concept through delivery
• Communicate ideas and concepts to designers, engineers and other stakeholders within the organization
• Maintain a continued understanding of the competition, industry, standards and relevant trends
• Be a contributor to the Product Design Strategy and guide, mainly the User Interface area.
• Maintain our current UI and make sure it is always up to date and improved
• Possible business travel for up to 20% of the working time

Your profile
We see that you have experience from working with user interface for control systems in a product. You’re results-oriented with a strong emphasis on collaboration, with both holistic perspective and high attention to details. You have an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to adapt, self-organize and define your own tasks in an ever-changing environment. You’re comfortable in negotiations and have good communication skills (written, verbal, presentation). We value previous experience of collaborating and problem-solving with cross-functional teams including a variety of stakeholders across business functions and levels.
For this position you need to have:
• Bachelor's or master's degree in interface design, interaction design, human computer interaction, visual design or eqvivalent with an emphasis on UI
• 5+ years relevant experience of designing UI and visuals for applications, websites and products
• Very strong capabilities of using visual and UI design software and rapid prototyping tools (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & XD, Figma, Miro); motion graphics and video production/editing abilities are a plus.
• Experience with agile software development process and methodologies and tools
• Professional language skills in English, both verbally and in writing; Swedish language is a plus
• Willingness and possibility to travel to spend time onsite with users
