The position
As a UI Programmer, you will work closely with the Design, Art and Programming teams to contribute to the functionality and features of the user interface, and to maintain a consistency between the UI mockups and the game. You are willing to push the boundaries of UI implementation, and the ability to consider issues from numerous angles and take efficient actions.
Particularly for this role, it is critical that you see your responsibility as working with your team-mates to deliver a successful end-user experience, and not just creating a technological solution to pass on to content creators. Previous experience working with multiple systems and stakeholders is a definite advantage. Finally, as with any other developer role, you will have to be able to balance functional and aesthetic requirements with technical requirements in the areas of performance, stability, memory usage, and interoperability.
Alongside your project you will be a member of our knowledge based platform Crafts. In your Craft, you will meet and develop with other developers across projects. You share experiences and knowledge with each other, in order to learn and to be aligned on what makes the best UI and open-world experiences.
