UI/UX Designer

We are in a search for a talented UI/UX Designer! As a UI/UX designer, you collaborate with design, developers, art, product owners and marketing to translate concepts into exciting player experiences. You are in tune with the pulse of the player community and continuously strive for the best possible experience for them.

As a UI/UX Designer at Star Stable you will:

- Work with game designers to translate designs into intuitive and fun player experiences
- Create user flow wireframes & layouts for design integration into the game
- Create / Implement UI assets in the game using internal tools*.

- Drive feedback sessions/ playtests to validate implemented UI/UX and intended player behaviour
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot UX problems in all areas of the game
- Create design documentation to provide visual consistency for a whole game (UI Style Guide)
- Adept at Game User-Feedback
- Mockup, Storyboard feedback sequences
- Assets (Particles, 2D graphics)

Our internal tools have a steep learning curve

We are looking for someone who:

- Is proactive and actively seeks new learning opportunities
- Has strong empathy for our target audience and belief in our mission and values
- Is a strong communicator as you will collaborate with many different teams
- View constraints as a fuel for creativity and have a problem-solving mindset
- Has experience of working in a game-editor. Ex. GameMaker, Unity and similar.
- Has relevant education in UI, UX or game design (education can be ongoing) or prior work experience from the game industry
- Is comfortable in Adobe’s creative tools: Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator
- Can keep designs on brand/style

It’s considered a plus if you have:

- Experience in scripting or programming (eg. Javascript, C#, or similar)
- Knowledge in using UX-prototyping software (eg. Flinto, Figma, Invision Studio, Sketch)
- Knowledge in 3D software as Blender, Maya, 3Ds Max or similar
